Hello Plano West Cluster Parents, Coaches, and Student Athletes:
On Saturday, April 26, Plano West is hosting our 4th annual Physical Day for all current 8th-11th West cluster athletes from 7:30-10:30 AM in the Plano West Auxiliary Gym, located at the bus lane on Willow Bend Drive. Doors will close at 10:30 AM.
Plano Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center (POSMC) will once again, for the fourth consecutive year, be volunteering their time to help us complete these physicals for our student athletes.
Students participating in athletics are REQUIRED to have a yearly physical prior to participation in ANY tryouts, practices or games/competitions for PISD athletics. Physicals must be completed on or after April 1, 2025 for participation in the 2025-2026 school year. Physicals must be completed on the official UIL physical form. There is no need to bring the physical form with you. We will supply that form.
We DO need you to bring the medical history form. All athletes must have a COMPLETED AND SIGNED (by parent or guardian) medical history form to attend. A blank copy is attached. Medical history forms MUST be completed before your physical is performed.
We highly encourage all students who plan on participating in UIL SPORTS during the 2025-2026 school year to attend on the 26th. THIS EVENT IS ONLY FOR PLANO WEST HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES FOR THE 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR. Physicals will not be done for band or 6th/7th graders.
Time: 7:30 - Current 8th Graders and Freshmen
8:30 - Current Sophomores
9:30 - Current Juniors
Payment is ALL ONLINE through Rycor. NO CASH will be taken. Cost is $20 (Discounted rate for free and reduced lunch students).

WE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTING WALK UPS. If you plan to attend, you must be registered and paid on Rycor by April 23.
